NetSupport Manager v11 Receives Glowing Report
From Network Computing
The evidence would suggest that the recent launch of NetSupport
Manager version 11 is set to maintain the products position
as the market leading multi-platform Remote Access solution.
Network
Computing's test lab have just put version 11 through
its paces and as can be seen from the closing summary,
the review was very positive.

NetSupport Join With Microsoft For
Launch of Windows MultiPoint Server 2010
NetSupport are delighted to announce
a new collaboration with Microsoft. Windows
MultiPoint Server 2010 is a new low-cost shared-resource
computing solution for schools aimed at providing more students
with access to a computer. With Windows MultiPoint Server
you use a single ‘host’ computer to give multiple
user stations access to computing for a fraction of the
purchase, maintenance and operating cost of the traditional
one-to-one computing model. Even energy consumption and
associated costs can be lower because you’re only
powering one computer and its associated stations rather
than multiple computers.
To support this technology NetSupport have developed NetSupport
School Centralized Computing Edition (CCE), a specially
optimised version of NetSupport School that provides teachers
in MultiPoint Server environments with best-of-breed class
management tools.

Windows MultiPoint Server (WMS) is
proving particularly popular in schools across Eastern Europe
and Africa. One such school who have been piloting the technology
is Moscow High School #548 and their Vice Principal, Elena
