Summary

If you try to convert a DNA Helpdesk User to an DNA Helpdesk Operator but this causes you to exceed the maximum number of Helpdesk Operators that your license allows you may get an error message when you try to navigate to different options in the menu.  Once this error occurs it is not possible to continue to use the DNA Helpdesk.

The error message is :

License Violation Detected

You have exceeded the limit of Helpdesk Operators allowed by your license

Please select License from the Admin menu and enter a valid licence Key.

Details

Please follow the steps below in order to resolve this problem

1. Download the attached Licviolation.asc
2. Copy the Licviolation.asc into the Document Root folder of DNA Helpdesk (Normally C:\Program Files\NetSupport DNA\Helpdesk\Document Root)
3. Overwrite the existing Licviolation.asc file

DNA Helpdesk will now detect if you have too many Operators and will provide you with the option to select an Operator and change them back to a User.
